Southern growers in zones 10a and 10b are able to grow SunHosta year around, plants will bloom in April if planted in the fall. For the rest of the country we recommend the following schedule:

Gallon: plant 72 liners in summer and early fall for spring sales 

Quart: plant 72 liners in fall for spring sales

Place SunHosta outside in full sun right after transplanting. In the spring plants could be forced earlier inside the greenhouse or cold frames after being exposed to cold temperatures for 6 weeks.  Maintain at least 68F and supplemental light for faster growth.tures for 6 weeks.  Maintain at least 68F and supplemental light for er growth.
